At MakeMycvEasy, we respect your personal privacy and are committed to safeguarding the career information and personal data you entrust to us. This policy details our handling of information in accordance with international data protection standards (GDPR) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP).

2. Guest Mode & LocalStorage

When you use MakeMycvEasy in Guest Mode without an account, your resume draft is stored strictly within your browser's local storage (makemycveasy_guest_resume). No resume data is transmitted or stored on our servers during guest editing unless you explicitly trigger cloud synchronization or AI assistance.

3. AI Usage & Third-Party Processing

When you choose to use our generative features (such as AI Summary, Bullet Enhancer, or Job Matcher), the relevant text snippets are processed securely through our PHP backend and forwarded to Google Gemini API. We never share your data for public training models, and requests are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3.

4. Data Sovereignty & Your Rights

You maintain 100% ownership over all career documents created on our platform. At any time, registered users may:

• Download a complete machine-readable export of all resumes and profile data in JSON.
• Permanently delete their account and associated cloud resumes with one click from Account Settings.
